A story about Lily Bittersworth
Last night, Lily woke me up just after I’d gone to sleep. She was barking in another part of the house, then she came bounding into the bedroom and was going crazy jumping around on the bed. I got up and went to the back door, thinking she needed to go out. She poked her head outside and looked around, but didn’t go out.
When I closed the door, she ran into the kitchen. I thought she was chasing one of the cats away from her food. But then I heard a faint “meow, meow, meow.” It was coming from the garage.
Orion O’Ryan had found his way out into the garage and might have been stuck out there all night if his big sister hadn’t gotten me out of bed.
